On the first day of spring Sherman and Christy Barnett drove to the Auto Body Express to see an Imus in the flesh. Sherman, the owner of Barnett Harley-Davidson drove with Christy the 300+ plus miles from El Paso, Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico to see an Imus and was rewarded with not one Imus, but three Imus's together. There was an Imus family. Don Imus, his wife Deidre Coleman Imus and brother Fred Imus.
Deidre Coleman Imus is a beautiful young blond former actress who is madly in love with husband, Don. Now we come to Fred's older brother Don. Don is an author. He wrote the great American novel, "God's Other Son", the saga of irreverent, Reverend Billy Sol Hargus. He is a best selling photographer. His book shot with Fred's help made the New York Times Best Seller List. That book "Two Guys, Four Corners" contains great photos of the Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico area. The only fours states that meet. Check your map if you don't believe. With captions by Don, it is a hilarious book of fine images. Last, but not least Don hosts the Imus In The Morning talk radio show. He is the premier proponent of Hate Radio with credentials to prove it. Imus referes to that as the "speech from hell". At an major event in Washington, Don was on the dais making insulting jokes about the President of the United States and seated directly in front of him was William Jefferson Clinton and his wife Hillary! Imus referes to that as the "speech from hell". Don won an award for that display of his talent. He was honored on the cover of Time Magazine as one of the twenty-five most influential Americans. Neither Howard Stern nor Bill Clinton were included on that list! Not too shabby for an admitted former abuser of cocaine and booze! Now he only abuses verbally, the influential, rich, and famous on TV and radio. Sherman Barnett happens to live in a town that is progressive enough to have a radio station that carries the "Imus In The Morning show", and he became an avid listener. As a result of the meeting, who knows what will transpire in the future? It will be interesting. Stay tuned!!! Oh yeah, if you can't get Imus on the radio, try MSNBC on . Don is way out there. It should be mentioned that this meeting was arranged by Fred's number one right hand, Bob Seleman, the only one of the ivory tower crew at Auto Body Express who ain't certifiably insane. The End .
